I just got a Cybiko display w/charger
for a Whole one cent piece (No Tax on a Penny) at OD
I have to buy a cable and down load the software for it!

Is it a hot deal if the vendor requests all Cybiko units back and the ones that are available are a few straggler units that failed to get returned?

Just called the local OD and that's what they informed me.

My friend wants to sell me his '76 Pinto with new Firestone radials for a $1. But I've got this weird thing for breathing, so I'll pass on that deal too...

Very strange here. No Staples store in the urban area, only in rural, some place I never set foot.
OD is close though.
The only feature I like about a Cybiko is wireless chat.
It could be fun if everyone has one.

Hey I just got the Cybiko display at Office Depot this morning. The manager just gave it to me. It just repeats itself over and over again. Does anyone know how I can upgrade it to a fully working product ? Maybe a flash upgrade ?

This is a legit deal if you can find it!!! The OD by my house sent the Cybiko's back, but the mngr told me that some OD's cleared them out for a penny awhile back, before the vendor said they'd take them back...it's not cardboard, it's the real deal, only prob is finding a OD that hasn't already either sold them, or sent them back...

I got one at an OD 2 weeks ago for 1 cent. Most OD stores won't sell stuff for 1 cent, they just throw the stuff out (into their cars). The 1 cent means destroy. I got an ignorant clerk who actually rang it up for 1 cent. No tax.

I called cybiko and they sent me a serial cable for free. I got the power supply with the unit, so I thought I was set. However, I still cannot get it to upgrade. Could be a serial port problem. The csr said it could be done. I downloaded and ran the autoupdate.exe program, but the cybiko keeps going into its demo program.
