Other countries scratch their heads looking at us - because in all the other countries I've been to you RUN to get across the street. You don't casually walk and expect the drivers to slow down or stop for you.

Actually it's been the opposite in the few countries i've been too. Drivers sometimes stop when you're at a cross walk just to let you cross. Doesn't matter if there is a light to let you cross or not. Now in bigger cities, you have typical crossing lights and you usually have to follow them; but still people might hurry across the street. it doesn't seem to be because they're scared they're going to get run over when the light changes, it's to be courteous.

I had a cyclist run a crosswalk right in front of me (I had a green light) yesterday on my way home.

Generally I don't mind cyclists in Hawaii since they're required to ride on the sidewalks where possible. I hated them in Texas where they're required to ride on the roads.

Overall though I pretty much hate you if you're on a bike. I hope you get hit by a less expensive car than mine.

I don't hate all cyclists, at all, but if I'm being perfectly honest I don't have a good thought when I immediately see one. I drive most of the time, and ride my bike recreationally other times. Every day I encounter so many shitty drivers. Guess what. There are shitty cyclists out there as well.

The thing is when you hear a driver say pretty much fuck most, if not all, cyclists - odds are that is a shitty driver. They have no perspective from a cyclists point of view, they just do one of the two activities.

Cycling in urban areas can be one of the most efficient ways, and environmentally positive as well, to get around. It takes two to tango. These idiot cyclists in the video, are well, idiots. All the drivers pretty much saying fuck all bikes, probably idiot douchebags also.
