Hey anyone have experience with these? Link

They are listed as 7.2" TFT widescreen with headrest mount for $105 which is nowhere near the normal price for a widescreen 7.2" TFT

There is almost no information on them, but I've found etronics.com to be reliable in the past. I looked at the mfg website and they also have them listed as TFT... what gives?

I'm considering ordering a couple of these just to see if they're TFT... if not, I guess I'll be out the $15 for shipping then the $7 for return shipping... hmmm...

Anyone know of these lcds?

Dumb question, but how is it powered?

I might like one of these for a Home Theater PC...

I want one of thse but...

For those of you who got one, I'd like to get a review on how well these things look, especially in sunlight (Or at least in a car).
Also does anyone know the specs (Resolution, voltage).

yah I'd like to know if the screen surface is glossy or matte finish. an installer at local Al & Ed's showed me his video setup and he wasn't too happy about his LCD's having glossy finish since they keep catching a lot of glare.

Anyone have anymore information on any of these screens? Specs would be helpful, and even DIY tutorials for in-car setups would be cool too!

i got one of these a while ago thinking it was really good, and it was horriable, sent it back and the person that sold it to me felt bad and gave me a power acoustik linky 5.6 in that blew the cyclone away. works great for watching movies/playing my xbox in the car on long trips.

if i were to do anything more with something like this i would get a lcd computer moniter and pixel8's vga firmware, make an adapter and have a 15" lcd flatpannel display.

so when it all comes down to it... ya get what ya pay for.

all of this can be powered with cheap walmart power inverters.

final word, beware of cyclone lcd monitors... power acoustik are ok, i have no idea about any other ones.

Thanks for the heads-up about the quality of the Cyclone, kitejumping. I was thinking about getting that one, but now I'll look around for something else.
