Ahhh. That's too bad... I had a lot of downtime because my CPU got fried, and I just got my new rig setup with an Epox 8RDA+ and AthlonXP 2100+ (1.73ghz) @ 2.32ghz... I will go with the flow, but I think we should hit 1,000,000 before we move on to a new project (assuming we all stick together).

after losing some stats, not saving WU's, I left D2OL... I decided to move to SoB, which allows me to turn it whenever I want, and it saves my stats !! Cool, easy and fast !!

I'm going to stick around till 1-mil. Or as long as my currently downloaded WU's last. We are going to be the only team to hit 1Mil . As far as other projects, Id like to stick with didease research as well. I havent very good luck with Find-A-Drug. But id like to stick with the bulk of the team, Whichever you guys decide to do. Guess its partially a comradery thing. Just getting used to the same old names in the stat threads

(Edit): I tool a look at TSC. And if the support is there and everything runs more smooth than D2OL i think that would be the best way to go. Since we all know the client and could most likely fix any little bugs or problems with it because of our experience with the D2OL one. Who is going to do the honors of creating the team? Geoff is who I vote for. But its your call bud if you want to keep up with it. I wouldnt want it any other way

Hallis - I'm flattered...thanks! I do believe there is already a Team AnandTech set up, but I can't get to their stats pages either. Guess they aren't all the way up after the move this weekend (they were moving their processes and data off the Sengent servers to their own servers in Connecticut. Here is their website if you are interested in looking more closely at them. I have been scoping out their forums and note that while they have some of the same problems that Sengent has (had?), they aren't with the same annoying regularity.

I'll keep you guys posted. It will be interesting to see what happens today!

I'll press on /w D20L - - at least as long as I can get WU. For some reason, I have not been plagued (no pun intended) by the problems that others have run into. One or two P3's can usually keep enough of a queue to keep going for a weekend.

Just a little info, yes there is an anandtech TSC team and we are ranked 18th at this time . and team tnt is also thinking about moving back into TSC after the servers are backup.They was the #1 producing team at one time.

Dunno what the competition is like at TSC, but I suspect you won't stay at 18th if we come over! I think team D2OL was around 22nd when I joined the team in October or something as part of mastertech01's drive for new members. We made #1 on New Year's day

There isn't but 3 or 4 of us still producing as far as I know so we are lucky to still be ranked that high but there is a big gap between us and the top teams.I don't think you can close the gap as fast as you did in d2ol. The Russians are really kicking out the work these days as is the German team. BBR also has a team ranked in the top 5.

I've deleted tasks.dat and replaced it with a new one, deleted the structs folder , checked the agent is online and it's sitting there like a dead duck <sigh>

Ive downloaded the TSC files to all of my computers for their various platforms . Just waiting for them to get everything transfered. In the meantime i'm running out my remaining WU's on D2OL. I did take a look ad something that was some partical acceleration thing. Its pretty darn nifty. Ive got that going on my work computer now just for something to do. But i'm hoping TSC will be a good deal for us, I'm sure the team could benefit from Geoff running more nodes than any 20 normal people ;D

Hi Guys....I don't mean to but into a team meeting....but thought this might be an acceptable interuption.

Those of you who check the stats over at d2ol I hope recognize my name, certainly you should recognize my team, hardcoreware....I am often biting at the heels of geoff, and our teams trade off on the number 1 spot in dailys. I just visted the stats page, it is up...for a few at least, but an interesting note is that the forum is still working...I have posted my two cents there. I really like this project, I hate to see it go, but I think that it is being canned. going to www.d2ol.com, brings you to the sengents home page. It would appear they are closing shop on d2ol, without so much as a thank you.

I for one would love to continue with this project, it has been a lot of fun battling you guys, and geoff has been a big help to everyone on the project.

well, just thought I would stop in....see you guys in other DC projects I guess!
