I just got back and they didn't do it, I'm kidna pissed about it but $1.99 isn't bad.....if I actually get both of the rebates back. I'm gonna try out the Fuji Rebate site and see if that helps. I think the last time I did a rebate with CC for Fuji media I only got one of them back....I'm gonna keep track for sure this time.

Tap,Why did it not work for you? Just go back to the store with your receipt and a copy of the rite aid ad to their customer service

desk and they should do the Price Match without any hassles. Also, get the 110% or 115% price guarantee whichever they have for your

store. I think your mileage may vary with the Fuji rebate tracking site. Make sure you call Fuji about 2 weeks after you mail in the rebate

to make sure they got it. Also sent it by certified or registered mail to guarantee delivery.

Damn it, didn't work for me, probably because I didn't have all the tips from this thread. The sales guy kept saying FINAL Price, I was f**k the final price, I'm talking bout the sales price. Ugh, he wouldn't do it. And in the parking lot I finally thought that if the $10 is manufacter's rebate then I could use that for RA, there by making RA's price -$3, but my dad didn't want to go back in. Should of started screaming for a manager or something, lol.(That be a sight a teenage girl screaming for a freaking manager just because they won't pricematch $13)

I've done this same deal about 3 months ago. I bought two spindles and used two addresses. You can't use the same address and you can't use a PO box. I got rebates for both spindles back from Fuji, but Circuit City hasn't sent me anything yet.

Here's what I want to know: Is it possible to do this again? I notice that the expiration date on the circuit city rebate is December, a long time from now. So is it the same coupon as the previous deals? If so, you I can't do it again since it's limit one per customer and I already gave them both of my addresses.

I just like to thank all the guys and gals here for their previous tips.. Today, I had a reason to goto Circuit City since I had to pick up a Motorola Bi-Directional Broadband +15dB Cable Amplifier for $99.99 which came with a $10 and $20 circuit city rebates. I looked on the form and it said that it requires only a copy of the UPC Code so that's what I did when I sent those two rebates in. I can now return the Cable Amp within 30 days and then buy it over the internet for $39.99 since I just wanted to make sure the thing works for me. Anyways, I bought the Fuji CDR's for $24.99 at the San Francisco Van Ness Avenue store in the computer department and then went to the Video department to buy the amplifier. After that, I pulled the Rite Aid web printout I did a few days ago thanks to you guys and the receipt taking out the rebate form and placing it in my pocket
and went to the Customer Service department. I didn't even say anything at all and just showed the Rite Aid flyer to the girl there and she asked me for my credit card so I got back $15.50 including tax making it $10.70 plus tax and I still had the $23 in rebates. 2ndgunman, can you actually take stuff and pay in other departments since I thought you had to pay within each department that had a cash register?

I was already planning to do what woofwoof suggested (buying first, then pricematching later), but I ended up having to go to a different CC to do the price adjusting... I bought the cds from this damn old hag who made it seem as if she were doing me a favor by letting me buy two and printing out 2 sets of rebates..."all kinds of loopholes" bah. Then explaining to me 5 times to have 2 mailed to a different address... I went back there to do the price matching and a sales rep (who I thought looked friendly) told me all pricematching occurs at the customer service desk...where that hag was still working.

At the other store, I even ended up using Jhill's method of saying "i never fill rebates because i never get them" to get a pretty newbie'ish looking sales rep to have someone adjust the price...he did say "the ad is good", which may be why the lady didn't even say anything... I got $11 back for one pack...I showed my 2nd receipt after I got the cash for the first one, and the lady gave me $15 and change for it...guess she adjusted to $12 for the first one, and $7 for the other one. It went pretty smoothly.

Now to fill 4 rebates

but pricematch policy says that if their final price is lower than another store's selling price, then they wont pricematch.

depends on who you get.

Man I have to stay away from the fudgy hot deal threads. They are great cd's and I have about 350 of them already. I'll have them wallpapering my office soon. It's hard to pass up great prices on great disks.

cc managers are notorious for price matching. they will do everything short of kicking you out of store to refuse your pm. bottom line is if they decide to be an a$$hole about it what can you do?

You guys know that Circuit City printed rebate forms all have a loophole in it. On both of the rebate forms, it says a copy of the UPC is needed. The only place that requires an original is when you register for the www.myrewards.info for the $10 Fuji rebate. So basically all you have to do is xerox the UPC and receipt and the forms and then send copies in for the rebate and you can still return the CD spindle to the store for a refund and still get the rebate.

not at my store. you need a circuit city with cooler employees. when people came in with those adds i just had a CSA PM it...or if a manager was handy i just had them do it. I know it's pushing that matter, but if you could complain to the Disctrict Manager about something like that, the Store manager would get in quite a bit of trouble for not PMin' it for ya.

For those who couldn't get a CC pricematch last week with Rite Aid at 12.00, you have until the end of today to pricematch Target at 12.77. For a copy of the target ad, go to here.

I tried to get a pricematch a week ago Sunday, but I got dinged, as all the sales droids I dealt were programmed with and kept passive aggressively bleating "Ours is lower after rebate" crap. (Had I been thinking on my feet, I shoulda said, "I'm buying two of them, and if I buy two @ 25, I can only get one set of rebates for $23, so it costs me 27, and 2 @ 12 apiece is cheaper".) Water under the bridge.

Be advised that the Target Fuji CDRs do not have the same UPC code, and the outer wrapper says 40X and has little circle like things going on, where the CC one is plain and says 24X. Nevertheless, Customer Service didn't have a problem yesterday and delightfully handed me back $17 for two.

Anyone have the direct link to the $10 MIR Fuji rebate? I checked out www.fujifilm.com, which doesn't list any CD-R rebates under "promotions".

The only link anyone posted on AnandTech was for ebates. Is there a direct link to a Fuji rebate form somewhere?

When I bought mine at Circuit City all I got was the $13 CC form.

Thanks.
