I scored one for $41.71 out the door! How?

Okay, 2 weeks ago, I go to 6 different CC's looking for the product. (it always says they have 1 or 2 in stock on their system but when you get their and ask they tell me they don't have it...bs) Finally find one so I goto the CSR to PM it to the OM price. Turns out the manager is a b!tch, gives me a bs reason: "The boxes are different therefore no pricematch." So I write a complaint to CC Support stating the issue. BLah blah etc etc...anyways I ended up getting a $10 GC. And eventually get it PMed BUT w/o the rebate...

As for the rebate...they put a message on the receipt: "DOES NOT QUALIFY FOR MAIL IN REBATE" But I dunno...I think there was a post on here somewhere that said you can still get the rebate even if it says that...

i would cut the "does not qualify" part off the receipt and submit it for the rebate

or maybe go to another CC and ask for a re-print of your receipt, perhaps that extra text will not be on the receipt, who knows??

I keep trying that rebate status page and I get nothing (but I think it is badly programmed). I got in on this deal when it was posted over a month ago and I beleive the rebate form said 6-8 weeks but I will have to check my records.
