I'm always impressed at how indelicate surgery is. They appear to use less care working on living things than I do assembling a computer.
We used to rework hip replacement types of medical equipment etc at one place I used to work at for a major company.
Some of that stuff came in looking like the surgeon hade been hitting it with a sledge hammer as badly as it was blasted on, and that was on Stainless of course.
Is a bit scarey after doing that even going in to have surgery at all.
You should see the major ortho procedures like knee and hip replacements. Metal hammers!
If you wanted to be very gingerly, then it would hugely extend the length of the operation and time under anesthesia without necessarily any benefit. The enemy of good enough is better....
After reading down, yeah those.
