OK, here's a few:

- How are you liking it so far?
- Have you played Oblivion and, if so, how would you compare the setup of the game overall (in terms of interactions with NPCs, quests, sidequests, etc.)?
- How do you like the combat system? Do you find yourself using one mode more than the other (targetting vs free aim)?

I'm really interested in this game. I enjoyed Oblivion although I never completed it, and the setting of Fallout is far more interesting to me. I don't think I ever played the previous Fallout games aside from possibly a demo.

We don't log in using our Live accounts

and why is that ?

Even though we have a legit and legal copy, we still can't have any aspects publicly seen. I can't really give details.

Lucky bastard...

I'm not even excited for Fallout 3, but playing a game early (legally) would make me feel special <3

Have you played the other Fallouts? If so, do you enjoy F3 in a similiar way as F1 or F2?

If you haven't played any of the other Fallouts, have you played a game you would deem similar to F3? Is it all mindless shooting, or does the game seem at least somewhat deep?

1. How much freedom do you really have to explore the world both at first and after you start to complete some of the quest line towards the beginning? Is it like Oblivion in the sense that the world is yours to do as you please or do they limit you some how?

2. Talk to me about side quests a little bit. Are there lots and are they available throughout the game so far? Are they fun and how are the rewards?

3. Talk to me about enemy level scaling. How does it work in Fallout 3 as opposed to Oblivion. Do you like it? Why or why not?

Who or what did you knock over?

When did this happen?

What is the non-emergency number of your city's police department...

Ok... how are the controls?

I am a big fan of the series and have enjoyed playing the predecessors. I have been very interested in Fallout 3 and think that I will eventually pick it up.

As you mentioned earlier about not having played the first two, do you think that this game will provide enough depth and enjoyment to the hardcore fallout fan boys/girls? I have read quite a few forums along those lines and there is quite a bit of heat as you probably know.

Do you think Fallout 3 will shake its new, shiny Pip-Boy in their faces?

Thanks for the response. I am getting more excited for this game already!

One question, is there a way to filter language and violence in the options? Both previous Fallout's had this option and I was curious if they had a similiar option in place.

I'll have to check tonight when I go home.

If there is an option, it starts off by default. The game does not hold back at all on violence/gore/language. I've been surprised a few times when talking with NPC's (which are done with actual voice) - some of them can get very upset, and they definitely let you know using whatever vocabulary they feel.

Gore is also pretty brutal. Targetted headshots often result with the victims head being blown clean off. You will notice large portions of the skull missing when you get near the head on the ground.

Had to ask. My wife would not be very pleased with an overly violent game that she thinks might lead to violent tendencies! Besides, it was hard in the first games sometimes to pick up equipment off the dead because it was hard to click on a pile of goo!
