If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask.

Is it like oblivion but with guns and set in chernobyl? Or is it more along the lines of stalker being more complex etc.

Perfect for me so far. I'm a huge stickler for FPS and I've never thought about it (except for when I was thinking how great it was).

Good, I'm really picky about FPS too so I may ditch the PC version for this if it runs so well.

This is exactly what I thought. Not a shred of new info so far. I don't like to be the guy to call shens, but this is pretty obvious, IMHO.

I could be convinced otherwise, mind you.

Thanks, mzinz, you're getting me excited for the game now I'd love to see a pic just to see the box art. Is it on one DVD?

I'm wondering if I should get the PC or XboX360 version. I got my console hooked up to a 40" 1080p screen... And my PC has a 24" screen. Though I shiver from the thought of playing a FPP game with targeting and stuff using a pad... Perhaps you could make the decision easier? Do the controls really feel natural? Or is still a mouse and keyboard the best way to go in such a game? Obviously there are games where a pad is lightyears ahead of a keyboard. Is it at least comparable here? Cause I think my PC has enough steam to push this game 1920x1200 AA and stuff at at least 30fps... And the higher texture resolution and higher AA could convince me to stick to PC. Hmm...

I have a more interesting question:

What DON'T you like about the game thus far?

Everything you've posted sounds like artificial PR rehashing of what's already known, I don't even understand how you got the game and yet you hadn't heard from it or the Fallout franchise before, do you work in the industry?, I just want you to say something negative about the game to make you sound more like a real person speaking what you really mean and not some dude under terms doing viral marketing.

Yeah this sounds more like marketing than anything else. Oblivion had a few issues even though the overall game was great. I want to know some negatives about the game also.

Looks like we have another Rollo...

Kidding!

Anyway...

Enemies aren't scaled to your level, right?

How are the load times (if any)?

Hopefully, the main quest isn't as short as Oblivion...

How many different kinds of monsters are there? Have you encountered a lot? Does the game do that cheap trick where they take a monster, change its color and make it stronger then pass it off as a new monster?

I thought oblivion and stalker both sucked for monster variety. Oblivion kind of made up for it though with a horde of weird people you could follow into an alley and kill.

You DO know that PCs can be hooked up to your 40" 1080p screen? Also remember about the forthcoming fan based free DLC...

Obviously I do know that Problem is the TV is in my living room and the PC in one of the other rooms, two levels up (my PC is in the attic room). I don't think it would be practical to pull a 20m HDMI cable from my computer down to the living room

Haven't decided yet... Bigger screen vs better graphics (with more AA and AF)...

And yeah, good question here, what don't you like in the game?
