Bad calls happen, it's part of the game.
I'm sure there were many bad calls that went the Siants way this season and allowed them to be where they are today.

Like the missed holding calls, pushing into the end zone, phantom illegal contact, etc. calls in the game with the Eagles.

There's always one person who would claim that two bad calls were the difference in a 25 point blowout.

FYI, the Saints were down by two and had both the ball and momentum in the second half. What ref calls caused them to give up another 20 points?

Well obviously the Bears made a deal with the devil because it's OBVIOUS that the Saints were a team of destiny, had God on their side, and deserved to win the Super Bowl and complete their Cinderella story, after Katrina and all. (no pun intended with the Saints being called the Saints).

I am tired of everyone milking the katrina disaster, just be quiet please. It was a diaster that nothing could have been done about it. That is the states own fault for building the booming area below sea level.

That argument might have some weight if the score were close.

A demoralized team tends to run out of energy quite quickly.

Notice all of you that I mentioned the momentum which more important than the 6 points they scored off of the bad calls. LOL.

Well grats to Lovie and his team. Maybe we'll see them again for the big rematch next year.

Guess I'll be rooting for the Bears this superbowl.

Did anyone else notice that every ESPN analyst except Ditka picked the Saints? Just goes to show that Ditka > ESPN.

I agree 100%. New Orleans doesn't need a SB win. They need better local politicians, better disaster planning, and more intelligent citizens who actually leave an area when told to. Not building below sea level helps as well.

OK, now you're stepping over the line.

You want to keep this to football, that's fine. You want to celebrate, that's fine. You want to state the obvious and shout "Superbowl!" (like they are in the stands), that's fine.

But you don't take this outside of football. :|

Amazing game, Bears had some insane plays. And New Orleans fans, the "two bad calls" would have made a difference if the game was at all close. Suck it up.

:brokenheart:

that sucked...

this season has sucked...

1) My redskins get their asses handed to them all year long...

2) My team-in-law the Saints make it this far only to be owned by the Bears.

If the Patriots win, I probably won't even bother watching the Superbowl...

I'm glad that no matter who wins in the AFC, they'll be favored over the Bears. I always feel better about the game when the Bears are the underdog.
