I'm hoping he starts his own team so he will have to deal with the stupid top 35 rule. If Jr isn't making races then Nascar might actually do something to fix that stupid system.

Jr. driving a black #3 Budweiser car would certainly appeal to a lot of fans.

I hope he joins Hendrick. They have the best of the best and it would give him the best chance at winning a Championship though it would be kind of cool if he joined Gibbs just to see him and Stewart as teamates.
What's sadder is that DEI is probaby going to merge with Yates and will switch to Ford from Chevy. Words out that his cousin and Crew Chief Tony Eury Jr will be going with him (as will his sister)Originally posted by: dmcowen674

Not surprised at all especially when he said they never got close on a deal.
Money talks even family walks
Sad
JJ, Gordon, Kyle Bush and Jr FTW. Odd man out would be Casey Mears.Originally posted by: JoLLyRoGer

Yes! Jr. + Hendrick = Helluva combination!
If you read the press confernece, it isn't about money. He wanted control of the company his father started and his stepmother offered it for a $60 mil price. To top it off they are in talks to buy Yates racing and possibly switch to Ford. He has stated that he will not race a Ford. He even said that he isn't looking for the highest bidder in a new team, but one that can offere him the best chance at a championship.Originally posted by: dmcowen674
