As deeply mistrustful as I am toward the police in this whole situation, it is kind of starting to sound more plausible. If it was a two-way shootout I can totally see how they might not stick around to look for this guy's drugs and cash...they might not have even known if they had fatally wounded him or not.

Honestly, I don't believe that the police killed him. I am just pointing out how low our law enforcement's credibility has fallen. We need more transparency. We need more oversight. We need to trust out police again, because right now we don't.
