One of my favorite places to buy jerky. Shipping is brutal, but who buys under 25$ of jerky as mentioned above? It's pretty much non-perishable for a really long time (the original flavor in my experience tastes similar to Oberto classic, and lasts very long).

I bought a bunch of the 1/2lb bags for the guys I work with. Great little Christmas gift. This jerky is just as good as any I have had (Except for homemade), and when it is 50% off, you just can't beat it....

The jerky was a little dry when I had it last time, wouldn't buy again. But tastes vary, and apparently a lot of people like this jerky, the price is certainly good.

I bought DGJ a couple time, hard and dry, i'd recommend big john jerky instead, much better than DGJ.

I have a dehydrator and I tried making my own. It turned out pretty good but damn you dont get much ... I dont see how you can possibly make it yourself for cheaper than $10 a lb unless you kill and process the animal yourself. Anyway howcome nobody bumped this deal? I never even saw it on black friday...

Received my order today, total screw up, they sent the complete opposite of what i ordered and one of the bags was opened.. maybe the ups guy had lunch.

ordered 4 bags of death by jerky and 1 bag of western style, the sent 5 bags of hawaiian teriyaki and the receipt was checked and signed by a packer too.

1lb of decent London Broil at the grocery store is about $3/lb. I use basic stuff to make a cure (salt, sugar, some various seasonings, sometimes soy or teriyaki, etc.). Last time I made jerky I got just under half a pound dehydrated from 1lb of raw meat. $6-$7/lb isn't that difficult to do.
