Damn, My GF can cook !

Me and my GF are trying to be healthier. We go to the gym 3x a week, and rarely eat out anymore.

She has hight BP, and I am trying to bulk up, plus we both are trying to burn a few excess pounds.

We try to eat high protein, low sodium, and low fat whenever possible.

She splurged a little with the Safflower Oil, but other than that I'd say it was well in line with our diet.

1.5 lb Chicken Breast (grilled with lotsa spices)
1 regular package of Tofu (fried with a little oil + more hot spices )

Sauce: Sugar, Little Bit Soy Sauce, Corn Starch, and MORE SPICES

Plus this awesome rice her family (Korean) only use : http://www.katagiri.com/ctlg/jpgf/k/k0011.htm

Plus some diced peppers + onions

She fried all the stuff up, made the sauce, and spread it all over a bed of the rice.

IT WAS SO GOOD !!!!

Dunno, never been to that place. ALot of the stores that used to be on Ben Yehudah have moved or closed down since the latest outbreak of violence. The crowds there are not like they used to be.

man...last summer I spent an evening with some friends down there and for the first time, in a long time, it was actually kinda bumpin' . Couple street bands, lotsa people out and about.

Sad to see it is back to being closed down.

Well, anyway...underneath the Bank HaPoalim is that resturaunt. Once I was there when Ben Yehuda street was totally dead due to violence and Marvad Haksamim was still open.

Worth a shot...trust me, the soup is AMAZING !

That Kokuho rice is just plain old Japanese rice.

If you want good Japanese rice get Koshihikari, sasanishiki or Hitomebore.
