I think I have a new speed record. I placed an order Monday morning from work at around 8:00AM. Stuff is on my doorstep right now as I type.

Figures... I ordered something Friday night from them and purchased rush processing. I won't get my stuff until Thursday looking at the FedEx tracking info online. :|

Same here. I am satisfied with NE's customer service but haven't found anything special about their shipping. For me, ZipZoomFly usually does better by at least a day.

Unfortunately I live ~3000 miles from the warehouse my purchase was sent from. I hope FedEx estimated wrong in my favor.Originally posted by: shady06

well alot of the times it depends on the location of their warehouse in proximity to your residence.
Oh well, it wasn't much of anything - a new surge protector, yay. I noticed that the "Protected" LED on my ex-surge protector was completely off, so I guess it was useless for surges anymore. I can keep it though; it can at least serve as a power strip for something.

Well those surge protectors are pretty useless anyway for protecting your stuff. They usually just have a breaker in them that trips when you get a surge, but you computer will probably be much more sensitive to spikes and stuff then the breaker. If you want good protection, put your box on a UPS, but it's unlikely that your computer will get damaged from anything comming out of your plug unless something drastic happens. (like you local power transformer becoming a graveyard for a squirel that got just a little bit to curious)
