Dancing + short girl = shot knees

Ugh, spent about 3 hours at the House of Blues tonight dancing, mostly with this really cute girl. She happened to be maybe 4 inches or so shorter then me, I'm 6 foot so she wasn't like midget-esque but she was still fairly short. Well, we're dancing and one of my knees does one of those really painful pops. It goes away but it kept popping for the rest of the night. I get back to my dorm and can no longer climb the stairs. Oh my goodness my knees are sore, I'm going to have trouble walking tommorow. If only she was a few inches taller so I didn't have to keep my knees bent constantly when we dance... And no, I don't have pictures of the girl, but she is quite cute.

And I'm guessing that she was about 4 inches shorter, now that I think about it, probably more, I had a whole head on her.

If the girl is shorter you have to have your knees bent more to dance. Try doing that for a long period of time and you'll know what I mean.

probably lowering oneself....i'm not a great dancer or much of a dancer so i wouldn't knw either....aha i'm short too..sux...i'm 5'8''.....

Had that problem myself. You should spend some time standing straight and let her enjoy your neck and shoulders. Would have been easier for me if the girl didn't keep sticking her tongue down my throat, but it was worth the discomfort .

Quit your complaining... I'm 6'4". You just have to deal with it or meet taller women. Start hanging out around basketball gyms and volleyball courts....and some truckstops. You'll meet taller women in those places.

this happened to me once... well kinda...

i was at a party and i got pretty drunk... so we were in the basement, i tried to tackle some kid but i collapsed on my ass because my left knee popped. it hurt like a bitch, i thought i really messed my knee up bad. one week later i was better though. it has happened like 3 or 4 times in the months after that, but it's been less painful than the first time.

i really dont know why this happened... but i think its because i sit on my ass too much over the past couple years and don't use my legs enough(not as much as when i was a young kid). anyways, i started doing squats and i feel a lot better, and once i keep it going for a while i dont think ill run into this problem again.
