Yeah . . . OK . . . I'd bet 99.9% of the people here at the forums knew nothing about .223 ammunition,
including myself, until it was brought up in the news that the sniper was using it.
This thread would never have been posted here, except for the fact that this psycho has now made this ammo "popular".

If most of us are "thin-skinned" (since most of us know this thread is just in very poor taste),

You all say its not funny but when you watch a movie and see someone get shot in the face you laugh. So stop being hypocritical. Indeed it is not funny to get shot when it happens to you. The next time you go to the movie theater and watch a violent movie see how many people laugh when someone dies. For example in Pulp Fiction when John Travolta shoots the dude in the face in the car.

It's already been said the sniper is using this type of bullet, but I doubt he buys over the shelf rounds. I too find this thread in poor taste. I believe the sniper is a poor excuse for a human being. With that said, I would suspect that someone who shoots that well and almost seems to be taking pride in his work (leaving the "I am god" message) would probably make his own rounds to extreme specifications. I would also assume he has a good bit of probably military but could be hunting experience. I guess I'm kinda thinking of Silence of the Lambs where the guy actually takes pride in growing the Moths. Most of these killers tend to be sick individuals that are extremely picky over certain things.

Yeah, I laugh all the time when I see people get shot in the face . . . that's friggin hilarious!!
I think it's even funnier when they are stabbed several hundred times!! Some of you people are unbelievable!!

The only time I ever laughed at someone getting shot in the face was when Elmer Fudd shot Daffy Duck!!
