darn, Anandtech.com is starting to get bad

I dont think non-suncribers have slow speed becouse they dont have money to pay for bandwidth. Think about it:

I dont know how many subscribers there are but lets say a 1000.

And if people pay a prox. 3.5$ a month its about 3500$ a month they get that should be more than enough to pay for bandwidth plus there are the banners witch probably add about 5000$ a month.

Maybe I am a bit optimistic about how much they get but more than enough surely.

Well I was pretty torn on this issue for several months. I have been visiting anandtech since the days when he used to have a small personalized site with a link to his hobbies (which was skateboarding I believe). Toms was the Sh!t then. Anyway the site has grown incredibly since then and I visit here now mostly for the forums and technical input from the members in the forums. I believe one of the reasons for the success of this site is the forums that bring in visitors and revenue for anandtech.com.Therefore the members of the forums should be recognized as a valuable asset, not a liability subjected to recoupment fees.

With that said, I finally and reluctantly coughed up the years subscription fee due to the fact that I could not tolerate the exxxxxtreme slow navigation most of the time and nonexistent evening connect and I have cable !

By the way the subscriber network is extremely fast.
