Nobody wants a criminal IRS, nor does anybody with a brain want false allegations to be seen as truth. You aren't going to get that objectivity from a fanatical partisan conservative brain defective, and demented idiot who lives in an altered reality bubble. What you get is bullying political corruption and the smell of conservative shit. Issa is a two bit Nazi. Partisan deviation and distortion should be met with treason charges. He should be held to the same scrutiny as he tries to apply. He's just another Republican Joe McCarthy, a fucking worthless bully ass.

Alternatively, any attempt to use the IRS for political purposes should be equally severely dealt with. Best of all, a revolution to get corporations and money out of the political system and return the government to thinking citizen minded people.

Lerner had invoked her 5th amendment rights before, so it was obvious that she wouldn't answer questions before he convened the meeting. Issa did a little grandstanding, adjourned w/o allowing anybody else to speak.

There's already an FBI investigation underway. Do you really think our clowns in Congress (let alone a lying sleazeball like Issa) can add any value beyond what the FBI will do?

By the way, the IRS being used as a "political weapon" claim is an RNC talking point, not a statement of fact. One of the reasons a Congressional investigation is guaranteed to be useless is because about half of Congress is treating that assumption as a foregone conclusion, as are so many here including yourself, apparently. An independent, objective investigation will determine whether there was any partisan intent behind the IRS reviews. It is a fact that left-leaning organizations were targeted for review as well, though it's not yet clear what criteria were used to select those organizations.
