I bought something using Dash once. I ordered a set of tires for my wife's car from some online auto parts store. It's been 5 months now and I haven't received any rebate. On the other hand, I haven't been charged for the tires yet either

Don't know... have yet to try. I just tried ans was able to have the Dash bar open while the Ebates banner was up. Ebates down to 2% at Buy.com... YUCK!

At one time you could combine dash and ebates. I got 5% at dash and 7% at ebates while ordering from cyberrebate. 100% rebate and 12% on your money.

They've since closed that loophole, now it's one or the other.

I've got a $70 check coming from Dash. I got a lot of crashes, but I'm also running IE 5.5 (not officially compatible). I'm kicking myself for not re-installing before I bought like $1000 worth of stuff for $300. Grr..

I have used Dash for quite some time. I received checks on 8/21 for $55.84 and on 10/16 for $135.71. Staples and BUY.com are stores included in the "rebates" program. And they do pay, however, I have always had to "request a check" which is done by logging in to their site, etc., and is quite easy.

Also, I have (at times) been able to stack ebates with Dash though not always with 100% success.

Be advised, I too have had numerous IE crashes - all the time - with Dash running.

I have problems with crashes AND with not getting credit from DASH. Small cahnge, but I bought $1000 worth of GC's from WalMart for me, mom, dad and wife in $50 increments (20 transactions) and even though the Dash bar said I was getting credit I only received credit for 7 transactions.

I use dash but the crashing is annoying. Does anyone know a way to have Dash permanently turned off until I purposely turn it on for a purchase? Besides unintalling it and reinstalling it everytime of course!

Hey how long does it take for rebates to become "available"? I have like 20 different transactions listed on the site, but under the "Amount Available" column they all say 0.00.

I'm really starting to tire of places like this (absolutely no offense intended to the poster). Maybe the screwing from PC has something to do with how I feel. But I'm starting to have the attitude that it's just not worth the bs for 3% or so. Like Ebates saying it can take up to a month for a purchase to register in the system. Gimme a break. What, is it run by the Flintstones? They gotta wait for the Pony Express to bring in a copy of the order? They don't own computers? What? And like there's any chance you'll be able to convince them you really did make a purchase a month ago once the 30 days is up & you see your purchase never registered. A month is just simply ridiculous. It's probably worth the hassle if the rebate is 10% or more, but even that's going to be fun proving if it didn't register for 30 days.

Oh well, there's my two cents... spend it wisely

Dash is cool because when you make your purchase, and you have the dashbar open, and the little dollar sign is green, it shows up in your account immediately. If it doesn't, contact them with the order number and the place you bought from. Forward them a receipt for best results. It should show up immediately if all the above 2 things are true (open and green $).

If you link through their site, but didn't have the dashbar installed, email them and tell them that you made your purchase with the dashbar, but it didn't show up. It's worked once for me. I was upset because even if you link through their webpage, they're still getting their commision. They just use the dash bar to record transactions at POS instead of sifting through their affililate statements when pay day comes.

Problem is if anyone has a better %, say ebates has 10% and dash has 5%, then dash fights you every step of the way through ebates and odds are that it won't work for ebates and dash will grab your sale at the last possible second. Because of this I routinely install and uninstall it which is a pain because they don't have a file that you can keep on your hard drive to reinstall, you have to download it from the web each time.

The reason why Ebates waits so long is typically it is the length of the return period with that merchant. If they had something more like the "Pending Purchase" thing like dash, you would at least know they got it sooner then the month Ebates tells you, and then could remove if if you return the item.

can someone please answer my question? Like one of you guys who has actually gotten payment from Dash? I have this huge string of transactions in my account there, but under the Amount Available column, it says 0.00 for each of them. They owe me about $150 total. How long do I have to wait??
