Here is the story. Here is everything that happened. Don't want to know? Don't read.
It happened 5 years in the future. They all came to town for Dawson's mom's wedding.
Pacey owns the Icehouse now and is the chef. He's sleeping with a married woman. Her husband finds out and about 15 minutes in, Pacey gets his arse beat by a few guys.
Joey lives in NY with the pyscho from Six Feet Under. She comes home for the wedding and while at home, decides she doesn't really like the guy she's living with.
Dawson lives in LA and is writer and director for "The Creek," a show modeled around Dawson's Creek and looks the same. he comes home with a season finale hanging over his head that he still has to write.
Jen got knocked up a couple years prior and has a kid. You can tell she's upset her boyfriend left and she seems down on life.
Grams is ok. She is in the episode as well.
Jack is now dating Pacey's brother (funny stuff). Pacey's brother is still in the closet, so their story revolved around Jack wanting to be a couple and not hide it anymore. Side note, Jack now teaches at Capeside High.
So, Jen goes down during the wedding reception. Everyone goes to the hospital. Grams says that Jen does a little problem, but it's being worked on. Jack stays and everyone leaves. Grams tells Jack that its a heart problem. He goes to see Jen. She admits it's her heart. Jack asks what can be done. She says "Nothing Jack. I'm going to die."
Before she dies, she makes a video for her 1 yr old girl. It was pretty darn sad. All the gang keep going to see her one by one over the next few days to keep her spirits up. Before she dies, she tells Joey, "My dying wish is for you to decide either to run, or pick (in referrence to Dawson and Pacey).
Jen dies. Before she does, she talks to Jack and Jack says he wants her little girl. She agrees.
Jack and Pacey's brother talk and Pacey's bro says he's ready to be open. He wants a relationship and to be a parent. They hug and their story ends.
Joey calls and leaves her current man.
Pacey tells Joey that he's not generally happy. His life has never been about happiness. He then says, "I've decided now to let you off the hook. As long as I love you, I'm happy. You don't have to feel the same way, but you deserve someone that makes you feel how I feel about you." She tries to tell him something, and people keep interrupting.
Joey goes to see Dawson. They talk. Dawson talks about the season finale he has to write. Joey asks if it's done. He says, "No it's not done, but I feel better. I realized it's fiction. It doesn't matter how it ends. It makes no difference. It's just fiction." They admit they love each other but it goes futher than lovers or friends or anything else. Your my soul mate." They both agree and that's it.
They end the show showing the season finale of Dawson's "The Creek" show. It ends and you see Dawson receive a phone call. It's Joey and Pacey saying how much they loved the show's finale. It's obvious she choose Pacey and they live together now.
The end.
