I think it'd be better to eliminate daylight savings and just have people and businesses adjust their schedules with regards to the season. Don't like driving in the dark without DST? Just leave an hour early, as if there were DST. What a concept, right?

Daylight saving time saves energy.

wake up earlier.

Sounds like their a little behind the time down there anyway...LOL High noon @ 2?...eh, when does the sun rise?

Hmmmm............

Actually sounds like this "work" thing is the actual problem.

If we can just get rid of this work thing, I think everyone will be better for it.

Congress shouldn't fix what isn't broken. The change, a weak attempt to save energy as I recall, will only serve as an annoyance, extra work for IT, problems with event timing, and I believe it also gets the switch out of synch with other countries that also have DST (as in, DST will no longer be on the same date, though I got this info from a news article I don't fully trust). I myself have an alarm clock that automatically adjusts for DST that I will either have to throw away now, or I will have to manually set it 4 times a year. I'll probably just throw it away and get another...my contribution to the energy savings. Gee, thanks Congress, you're really doing great work.

Almost forgot about it last time since I'd been in AZ for years. Man I miss not worrying about it

I think DST has always been a stupid idea.

This change is even a bigger PITA in that it severely affects the softwares our IT staff supports. Being in a regulated industry the patching and re-validation this requires has severely impacted our day-to-day duties.

Getting the buildings to turn off their light will yield a much bigger energy saving than DST. For Canada, this change is hell. We are still in the darkness in March, but we are gonna follow Amerikinsky DST or create hell.

I like DST. More hours of light when I'm awake.

I wish it was DST all year, because I'm not an early riser.

I'm not a morning person and I hate DST. With DST, we are getting up 1 hour earlier -- so I don't understand why you like it.

you hate changing from later to earlier...... i prefer it to be light when i walk to work in the mornings.... i love it when the sun is up at 6:15
