DD-WRT 360 Wireless Network adapter

I previously had a dd-wrt setup to get my 360 wireless internet. It is a year or so later, now I have a need to get this working again. I have different routers and a different ISP.

The bridge is working in WPA2 Personal mode. However, the connection is choppy and unplayable. What is the best way to troubleshoot this?

Your post is not very clear. You don't any any info on what you currently have. Knowing the following would help:

1) What router are you now using, and are you using DD-WRT on it?
2) What is the current download & upload internet speed that you are paying for?

The following will test the bandwidth between your router & your bridge:

If you have access to both a desktop & laptop, download NetCPS from http://www.netchain.com/netcps/ , and install on the two PC's. Open command window (Start, Run and CMD <Enter>). On the desktop, type NetCPS -s to start a server.

Turn wireless off on your laptop, and plug the laptop into your bridge. On the laptop, open command window and type NetCPS "IP address of the Desktop pc" (remove the ""). It will transfer 100MB and then calculate the speed in "Characters per second". Multiply by 8 to get approximate bandwidth. Windows Firewall may block this and ask if you want to open or keep blocked. Make sure to open the firewall.

Post your results, and we'll go from there.

Second on the above posts, but if you are hooking it all up on a new setup, resetting to default and re-configuring from scratch isn't a bad idea. Just google the instructions on how to configure DD-WRT as a bridge, what the optimal settings for the 360 are (static IP, etc) and set it all up from scratch.

Also consider wireless interference, either from competing signals if you're in a building complex or distance from your gateway router to your bridge router.
