I'm trying to setup something along these lines:
Router 1: DD-WRT installed. Connected to cable modem.
Router 2: DD-WRT installed. WAN connected to Router 1. Has OpenVPN client running to run all internet traffic through a VPN server.
It works fine, but I'm trying to figure out a way to get them both on the same local network so that devices can see one another regardless of which router they connect to. I tried setting up router 2 as an access point and disabling DHCP but while that succeeded in putting everything on the same local network, OpenVPN stopped working at that point.
Anyone have any thoughts on how to make this setup work?
