LOL

There are many out there and I remember reading up on different ways to do DDR mat mods. Everything from taping it down to a wooden board and putting plastic on top to securing it to one of those office chair mats that have the little spikes on the bottom to keep it from sliding around.

Sure enough, those were two of the first link on the Google search.

I used the aforementioned "chair mat mod" on one of my pads long ago, that definitely keeps it from going anywhere.

I'd just get some of the anti-slide stuff used for rugs. You can probably get it at home depot or a carpet store.

+1. Works well and doesn't damage the pad (nails) or the floor (glue).

I have mine mounted on MDF (multi density fiberboard) cheap from Home Depot. You get some large squares of very thin clear vinyl from the Walmart fabric dept. Cost a couple bucks. Approx. two feet longer and wider than the measurements of your DDR pads. They get you some staples. Cut the corners off the vinyl so that it doesn't bunch up underneath the MDF, then place the DDR pads on the MDF, place the vinyl over the top and staple the vinyl to the MDF on the bottomside. I had to tap the staples flat with a hammer. Voila' mounted DDR pads on the cheap!

Total cost for me was ~$10. HD even cut two pieces of MDF for me, to the size I needed. The vinyl holds up exetremely well, but make sure you get the thin kind from the fabric dept. I did this over 4 years ago and they are still in great shape today.
