DDR2 800 Mushkin 4-4-4-15 vs G.skill 4-4-4-12

I've been wondering which of the two RAM is a better choice.
G.skill certainly has a better timing & it's cheaper than Mushkin too.
But certain ppl argues that Mushkin has a better module binning(which i do not hav any idea wth it is). Seems like binning affects d performance as the timings do.

so wht's ur choice?

The HZ series uses Micron D9 chips.

yeah, i've read this article few days ago & it mentioned sth bout d G.skill is binned for lower specs.
wht does it meant by binning anyway? i'm looking for a compromise between o.c ability, price , performance, & compatibility here...

It means they may sort the chips and use the better ones for something like DDR2-1066.

But anything with the Micron D9 chips is going to be your best bet. The G. Skill HZ uses them. Not sure about the Mushkin.

got the g.skill set and they work awesome.

goes up to 4.1Ghz on my pentium D 930 3Ghz using the stock voltage (2.0 or 2.1 something). im sure it can go higher.

have been wondering d reasons behind d huge price difference between versions of G.skill's RAM. although with d same timing, d price of the RAMs certainly not.
perhaps it's all down to chips used in the RAM.
