DDR333 512MB have problem with some Motherboard configuration?

My Motherboard is XP333, Last month, my CPU Athlon Xp 1700 was burned, so I replace it with DURON 1G, and I must jump the FSB so my MotherBoard can run the DURON CPU , before my Athlon XP 1700 burned, my MotherBoard detect my DDR333 256 Memory normally, it appears "Main memory is DDR333",
and when I change with DURON 1G, and jump the FSB, my MotherBoard detect my DDR333 256Mb into "Main memory is DDR200" , it run normally in WinXp Prof. , but maybe the performance is not so fast.
Yesterday I bought a DDR333 512MB, it still appears that "Main memory is DDR200", but sometimes Motherboard detect it as 256MB , sometimes 512MB , and when I run the some heavy programs / applications, it will automatically restart, and 512MB will be detected as 256MB .
Any idea?

What do you mean by "Jump the FSB"?

I would recomend ensuring that you have the lastest BIOS for MB. There were some FSB\MemBus timing issues at one time. Try to manually set the FSB to 200MHz in the BIOS and ensure the CPU Core Voltage is set correctly. Then ensure the Memory speed is manually set to DDR333MHz.
