nope... the router connects your modem to the internet... you don't need to configure any of your computer but just plug it in... but you may need to configure your router w/ 192.168.0.1 w/ this router depending on your ISP

it should be the one with one number (UPC) and the barcode.

Yes according to he speedstream.com which is their site and go to faq of the routers, it will tell u how to configure to work with ps2 and/or xbox.
