Click here to order it. Add some free after rebate items (for example the universal remotes 20658245, 20191196) and some paperclips (for $0.29) and use the $30 off $150 coupon.
Totals $150-$30off-2x$10MIR-$20MIR-$30MIR = $50.
Free shipping, tax will be around $10.
Expires 10/18

This offer also can earn you bonus miles.

Already hinted at in the HD thread, but I hope this post makes it a bit easier for you

Here the links for bonus miles at UA (4 per $) resp. AW (3 per $). Probably this deal will get you enough miles to get a free magazine subscription

The $30 instant rebate is already included in the price. You get it for $129.99 after $30 instant rebate. There are $50 in mail in rebates.

You end up paying $80 for it.

Yes, but if you do the coupon, it drops to $50, of course you have to buy two FAR remotes but still a hot deal IMO

Has OfficeMax actually been accepting their rebates? Last time I sent in OfficeMax rebates, they were rejected, I sent in all the materials required, and they rejected it. So I had to pay full price... None the less, I will never shop there again.

Hey dude,
Sorry to hear that, but if you contact me by email, I can give you the email to directly contact OM corporate which will get you the rebate. This will only happen if you still can provide them with the copy of the rebate materials and the rejection card or letter.
I will get the email address for you guys later.
Anyone else have trouble with their rebates?
I have gotten all of my WD rebates and OM rebates so far, including Cendyne's.

Well this was like 2 years ago, I doubt they will have my stuff on record still. And I dont have the rejection card/letter or the rebate materials. I remember reading the rejection letter saying we didnt give them all the required materials for the rebate, which is BS because all they wanted was the UPC Barcode and a copy of the receipt, which i sent in, and it was still rejected. And to top it off, they didnt even send back the UPC Barcode or the receipt with the rejection letter. I hate OfficeMax!

NEVER give up after a rebate is rejected. Unless you know did something wrong. Half the time it just a mistake. Call and write the rebate center. Someone gives you an answer you don't like, contact them again and talk to someone else. The WANT you to give up.

both of these rebate forms seem to ask for original upcs...though I may be wrong. Which one should I send the original in to, and which one a copy?

btw, I just realized this is a special edition (JB), so VERY good deal

edit: nevermind, I see now that the WD rebate requires only the capacity label!

Deal seems to be dead now. Though they said offer will last until 10/18.
Nobody has to worry though, more good offers likely to come soon

I don't see this deal as dead for anyone who wants to get one. Yes, the price has changed online, but if you order it at $159.99 and call them, they will adjust the price for you.

I know if it was me, I'd order just the hard drive at 159.99 with a $30 coupon. I'd then call on monday and speak with my friendly csr (who I ask for by name, and no I won't "name names") who will adjust the price for me without taking into account the fact that I used a $30 off $150 coupon, and my order total is no longer above $150.00.

For those of you without an OfficeMax csr who you know will help you out, you might want to add 20.01 in other items so that after the $30 is deducted, you will still meet the coupon requirements.
