Yep, it's actually about 11/32" shorter than a 24" 16x9 display.I have one of these...be aware that the 29" size is very misleading. It's actually about the same height as like a 15" or 17" LCD monitor. Think like a pair of laptop screens side-by-side. It's cool, but it's not very big IRL. Also, you can do dual virtual monitors with DisplayFusion, which is what I use:

I have one setup at a satellite office with a mini NUC computer....pretty neat. Frees up a lot of desk space to have an ultra-wide with just a single stand!

I run two of these at the same time in eyefinity, but mine have display ports, I love it for the games that support the 5100~ pixels for when I play f1 2015, you really feel as if you are in the car when its almost 60 inches wide :O
lol 15 or 17 inch laptop screen? a 29" inch 21:9 is the same height as a 23" 16:9 screen.I have one of these...be aware that the 29" size is very misleading. it does "feel" much smaller than that though.
The 25" is $169.99 at Newegg right now. I missed out on the 29" deal, was thinking about replacing my dual 20" (20WMGX2 and a Dell ST2220T, wish I could find someone local to trade straight up with) with it since having 2 displays made me have to move one speaker off the desk. This way I'd end up with roughly the same size for 16:9 content, but have a bigger display for when not. I think the 25" is a little too small though, the 29" would've been a good fit.
Anyone know if these are glossy?

I have U3415, I have not plugged it in yet as I'm trying to find a suitable computer desk for it. I believe it will be awesome, less than 4K resolution (easier to drive) and wider FOV. I still plan to do 3 projectors with edge blending but this will probably hold me off until winter hits and I want to work on home projects again.
