What was the original listed quantity of monitors up for sale? I wonder how much of a hit they could possibly take. $500 "Loss" (assuming the monitor costs $500 to manufacture, though I doubt it.) even if they blew through 1000, that's still a drop in the bucket for how much Dell makes in an hour....

if i check my order status via my acct, i don't see the order listed..

If i check via order/cust #, it shows in production, yet no details of the order are listed...

unless i get an email explaining a mixup, i'm waiting for the shipment... if they mixed up the webpage, they can mixup a shipment, i think it's funny that ALL of the $998 2405s were gone from the deals page after the $428 2405s were sold out which means they might actually be sending the 2405s

If you used a CC, contest the charge. I had to do that with a Dell order when they didn't send me my 17" LCD TV (Dellf coupon). Ended up I got the computer that came with it for free, but all I wanted was the LCD TV!!!

Bait & switch is a big no-no when it comes to the credit card companies! Save your documentation!
