I just bought an AMD 64 lappy, So No need for this deal it cost me ruffly the same amount of money as this deal would have. So No harm.

From what I saw the AMD 64's for most things were faster then the Intel M's

I'm royally P.O.'d at dell; most teachers, students, and people in general could'nt take advantage of this promotion. Dileberately excluding those who need a cheap computer the most is nothing short of sleazy. I think I'm going to send dell a nasty E-mail now; they deserve it.

No, I'm just ticked off that Dell did'nt consider that high school students are not physically able to order something off of Dell.com in the middle of history class. I would have been happy to pay without any form of student discount (which I could not get anyway), but what dell done is in the same arena as requiring a higher voting tax at the polls for african-americans. I'm none too fond of dell for some of their buisness practices, and this only bothers me even more.

The coupon was originally set to expire tomorrow morning. They probably pulled it earlier because of the AT/FW/all other deal sites effect.
