I just got a stick. So far, it looks like my overclocking ventures aren't going very well. I'll keep testing stability and I'll see how far it goes before completely failing out. I'm at 170 at 2.5V CAS 2.5 right now.

Will the circuit city rebate work with the price match? I can sure use another 512mb for UT2004.
Yea, all the CC rebates have worked for me: even after I did a PM to another store. IIRC, it's only BB that bars rebates after you PM.

For example,
I PM'd 1 stick yesterday and the girl just took the paper and reciept and next thing she said was here is your money back and the transaction went flawlessly.
BUT, today I went to the same CC and bought a gig, tried to PM it and a differenct girl at the counter argued with me that they can't do that and she wouldn't PM it for me.
so I left, I will go back later tonight or tomorrow when another CSR is working.

Also, one weird thing though, I am now running it with another 512mb of RAM (Dual Channel) on my Abit NF7-S and my marks in 3dmark2001 went down by 500. Very weird. Anyone have a clue why this is. I know I'm doing somethign wrong. I have the ram on the Dimm2 and Dimm3 slots.

I had the same issue with PCMARK04, I had a score of 4574 with the 1 gig not overclocked, at 333mhz.
then I went and overclocked them at 3448 timings and 400mhz and I got a score of 4505. But the crazy thing is, that it lists the components seperately, and all the seperate scores are higher than before but I got a lower total score by overclocking.......weird!

Just go at another time, unless you talked to a mgr then they will prob. remember you.
or try another store. look at my comments above, I went and got denied today in the afternoon, then went back at night and a different person was working and it worked no prob.
just depends on who is working
^ This is exactly what company policies are supposed to avoid. when ppl actually follow them!

Yeah, I work at Circuit City--after company changes that were made fairly recently...well all I can say...you're lucky if you get both in store.
that one..keep a copy of it and copies of other submitted docs/papers..The one that's on the kigston memory box?
