Anyone notice the $20 manufacturer's rebate found here states the offer is only valid 6/1 to 7/5?

They may host the coupons, but they are not always advertising it on their site. There's a difference.

4 rebates? That is at least $20 worth of work for me, plus they are not all that certain as you think. PC2100? I am trying to sell my Crucial PC2100 for $30, nobody wants it. Heck the drive is a good deal by itself but in principle I won't go for multiple rebates. That insanity with re-baiting gotta stop.
Next time you know OM will have $2 rebate to associate, $3 rebate to assistant manager, $5 rebate to local office, ... all BS.

1) Stevejst, thanks for crapping in a perfectly good thread. Of course nobody wants your old Crucial PC2100 for $30, since the new generic PC2100 is as good as old Crucial PC2100, but @ 0-$10 AR. Cheap memory is good for a cheap system. Expensive new memory is good for a top-performance system. Old slow expensive memory isn't good for anything.

2) Saw this deal on FW Sunday (where there is/was also a $30 off $150 coupon), the items weren't available online Sunday till around 8:AM PST, at which time I placed an order, which arrived yesterday.
Drive IS as described, 80GB w/8MB cache. Memory has generic chips (no manufacturer name) "maybe" 7ns. Similar memory I've seen in the past would do up to ~180MHz though not on nForce2 boards, but I haven't even opened this memory yet, so YMMV.

If the drive goes on back-order you might try this item # (20063681) which USED to be the item # for the 2MB cache version, though these days you might get the 8MB cache version substituted for it as some peeps have in past OM deals, I just dunno.
