Nice! I still have my $40 credit for video games from a similar deal they ran in November. I wonder if I can use that credit to reach the $80 and thus get me another $20.

Hmm... I mean I don't really care for many of the 360 titles they have for this offer. Now if they had Assassin's Creed II and maybe one other game I was interested in, I'd probably jump on it.

That said, most of those games are priced higher than they are at Gamefly's sale, and higher than they are at www.webuy.com

For those with a PS2 or launch PS3 with BC there are some good PS2 titles in the list like Shadow of the Colossus, Kingdom Hearts and Persona 4.

WAIT RLY THOSE R NEW AND THE CHEAPER ONES I'D RATHER BUY R USED? ZOMG NO WAY.

I can get Fable 2 for $15 at www.webuy.com or in their store... or I can get it for $28 on Amazon "new." That is much more than ebgames typical $5 or $10 New/Used price difference... we are talking about almost twice the price.

I can get Fable 2 for $15 at www.webuy.com or in their store... or I can get it for $28 on Amazon "new." That is much more than ebgames typical $5 or $10 New/Used price difference... we are talking about almost twice the price.

you have a point, you can save some money buying used, but buying new helps to support the developers...

personally i like new because i'm a germaphobe... and amazon has pretty much been stellar in the customer service department.

Plus there ARE a few gems to be had with this promotion, just gotta do your homework...

like fallout 3 is 27.99 at amazon NEW and qualifies for the promo and at webuy it's $28.00 USED (do you need to pay tax/shipping? never heard of them)

Yah, you raise a good point. And frequently Amazon does have great deals and the lack of tax is a huge plus.

I've never ordered from www.webuy.com, I usually go to their store in Downtown Crossing in Boston, MA.

Legally, you do still owe the tax in most states, as a 'use tax' on your income tax form.

true....legally you do still owe 'use tax' to you state, but i'm willing to bet less that 90% of online shoppers even know this.

and of the 10% that do know it, probably and another 90% ignore it.

i can tell you that come april 15th, i don't spend my time tallying all the hundred or so online purchases i've made during the previous year
