I don't know about that one...
back in January or February, I paid $250.00 for my brandnew ATI 9800 AIW Pro, and if you look at the prices of those, brandnew, retail, they have never dipped below that point. So my investment paid off for 6 months.

Now I have just finished paying $240.00 for a BFG 6800GT that was flash biosed to a 6800 Ultra... We shall see how that investment pays off as well...

I received my combo. I extracted the Far cry game, and shipped the combo off to someone in exchange of $40.00 and a nice BFG 6800GT. The guy also flashed the firmware to upgrade it to a 6800Ultra...

So I have just now paid half the price for one of the hottest video cards on the planet.

Yeah it's real. This deal doesnt quality for that rebate though, since that's for clawhammer CPUs only.

As for the link, yes, it's real. Good luck getting in on it now that the fatwallet ebayers have gotten to it, though. It was a pretty good gig when only a few select people had access to it. Still worth a shot.
