Silly or not, I think that's how it'll come. Processor in the socket, and heatsink/fan installed on top.

Anybody who already got this - what EXACTLY do you get in the deal? Is the motherboard retail, or do they take away all the cables and goodies? Is the CPU retail or OEM (guessing OEM - but then what kind of HSF do you get?). Makes me a little nervous thinking all I will get is a bare board. I don't mind an OEM CPU, but I would definitely like a retail mobo.

It comes with everything in a retail package ,but in OEM BROWN BOX ...No fancy retail package

For $200 I can live with bare ass mobo - Not like I use extra junk anyways

I am pretty sure it all comes assembled with CPU and Heat sink fan actually installed on the motherboard along with 5 Far Cry CD's in those little paper pouch things. Atleast thats what the people from the retail deal got. I belive you also get an AMD shirt. I am thinking you get all the goodies that comes with the motherboard too atleast I would think so.

Any one who actually got this deal could you fill us in though? I am in on the deal I just havn't had mine ship though.
