I registered on the AMD market builder website, read everything on it, and I have said nothing I will regret. I suggest you check your facts. The terms and agreements of MEMBERSHIP to AMD market builder does allow enthusiasts to be members. However, nowhere in the terms and agreements of membership does it say anything about the MB/processor combo. The official rules for the MB/processor deal are something entirely different, specific to the deal itself. Those rules clearly state that you must be a platinum or gold member. Nowhere in the rules does it state that associate members can participate in the deal. If you think the rules changed, I'd like to see proof. Got a copy? I didn't think so. You got busted. Get over it.

Did you read the link that describes the enthusiast membership level? I'm sure you did or else, in reading this entire thread, you'd have surely seen it quoted earlier. I'll repost it for you.

This level of membership will give you access to the AMD Market Builder portal and basic information about the Solution Provider Program. You will have access to the latest AMD news affecting Solution Providers, promotions and training on the site.

Of course they didn't change the terms for a limited time promotion. Any microscopic change to terms involves a lot of time and legal fees for lawyers to confirm the changes are clear and precise.

ugh...just called tiger direct and they said there are about 1300 on backorder. The guy was pretty much useless though (and rude, too). Mine still says drop shipped and i'm on order E93021xx. It should have been shipped already since people who ordered AFTER me had theirs shipped. The only thing he could tell me was to call back on thursday or friday.

My take on the AMD Email was IFyou got this email then,they are saying youare qualified for there promotions.This said, I feel anyone who got this email should see a PROMO on there door step provideing 1)AMD doesn't come out and say we ran out of promo product to ship and 2)this voids any rumor of registration/order CANCLELATIONS.

I talked to Tiger Direct this morning (Order #e9307xxx) they said it should have shipped from the Drop Shipper yesterday and tracking info will be available later today. I'm crossing my fingers, but I'm still half expecting some disappointing news like "we are now showing backorder" or "cancelled the order..."
I'm am holding back my excitement until I get tracking info.
