It may be a stupid question, but if Tigerdirect is backordering some of these...does that mean most of us will still get them eventually?

I got the e-mail saying that I was a member...
and my order still says drop shipped. I ordered mine at 11:00am 7-8-04...go figure...
I should have ordered earlier... lol, I told my friend about the deal, and he spend most of the day getting in... He is getting his Combo today....

Hopefully mine is just on back order and I will get it sometime next week, but to this point they have not charged my CC.

we are all getting mixed answers from TigerDirect...i called about 45 minutes ago and they said that my order, E93050xx was going to be shipping directly from AMD's warehouse and that it could take up to 2 weeks....:-/


btw who's recieved them already and what were your order numbers?

Stop your bickering. My order number is E9300xxx and I ordered on July 7th at 9PM EST and I'm still in Drop Shipper status. So mine should have shipped before many of you got yours! But I'm not complaining. Let Tiger fulfil the backorders. If we all keep calling to bug em they may just pull the whole thing.

I'm not at all convinced that my 9307xxx order has shipped yet. I believe that Tiger is telling different stories. It may also vary by region. Mine is supposed to ship from Illinois. Maybe West Coast has a different drop shipper with different stocks? I'm still holding out for the tracking info. (BTW, my order status on the web still shows "to drop shipper")

Mine shipped from "WEST CARROLLTON, OH" and I'm in CA. It's scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. I ordered around 6PM EST on the 7th.

I called Tiger Direct and they told me that my order is already in the warehouse processed ready to be shipped out. I asked them if there was any chance the order could be cancelled at this point and they said no it's definitely coming. My order number is E9306XXX (closer to 7000) and it's going to California. I ordered at about 11.30 AM PST on the 8th.

Guess I'll go buy some ram. Still a bit worried about it getting cancelled, but I think I can relax now. It seems this deal seems to be driving a lot of people insane, so I hope this helps calm some people, at least on the west coast, since my order number is relatively high. I myself could barely sleep last night after reading the AMD e-mail saying they were cancelling that guys order (I know, it's extremely pathetic, I need to focus on something else).

Anyway, will Corsair ValueRam work well on this board? I'm looking at the CAS 2.5 512MB PC3200 stick on newegg for $85.

I'm not sure I would put a lot of stock in getting that e-mail. I registered with two different companies/accounts and I got that e-mail to both accounts, even though I only ordered this deal through one of the accounts. So I'm not sure there's any connection between getting that e-mail and being approved for the deal. I hope I'm wrong, of course, but that's what it seems like to me.

I ordered on July 8th at 2:00 AM CST. 93020**. It's still on drop shipper and the pending charge on my credit card disappeared. Not a good sign. I wonder if the two day shipping option would have helped.

I just talked to a TD CSR and they Insured me that my order from the 9th would be shipping out on Thursday or Friday from IL this week and I should be expecting this next week.

"as I was typeing knock'knock' my 1st arived T-shirt size L :frown: and the package was opened but every thing was there and sealed,one strip of tape was to keep the box closed :roll: and the package looked like 150 pounds were loaded on it.Any way everything looks good.I'm going to set this up and run some bench marks against my pentium 3.2ghz soon to be Ic7-MAX3 sadly enough for now its running in a dell 400sc running @ 3.19ghz with 1gb of ram
I just would like to see where this 64 3200+ stands next to the pentium 3.2 @ this stock under preforming level kingston hyperX KHX3200AK 2-3-2 most likely running 3-3-3

Okay, why are some of our order numbers being skipped over? The orders don't seem to be getting processed in a first-come-first-serve order. People with order numbers 9306xxx and 9307xxx are claiming theirs are being shipped already. My order was 9302xxx and I emailed TD, and they said it hasn't been shipped or processed yet.

But in all you COULD have ordered 2 correct?, you just chose to order 1 right is that correct?and you got a confirmed email two BOTH addresses saying you were eligable for the promo and there for IF you orderd from BOTH then YOU WILL and or WOULD have gotten your order/s shipped out in time.

I have not called, but my order E93 023xx is still in drop shipped status. Guess we just have to wait. I did get the welcome email, but don't know if that means squat.

Relax and think calmly for a minute.

The orders *WILL* be going to different destination addresses, I imagine, so different drop shippers will take care of them depending on the address.

So I guess even though it's TigerDirect for all of them, some warehouses are slow, some are quick...

Tiger has out lets in FL,IL,and NC they said to me that my second order would come out of IL if thats the case then IL's warehouse must be in OH based on the UPS tracking.So there for there must be other warehouses for diffrent parts of the country I would think.

yeah...it's probably different depending on where you live. for example...mine's shipping from ohio, (called td) and my order # is E93050xx and it's still on 'To drop shipper', while others who live closer to their shipper, have already shipped.

I am in Tennessee and have a lower number than though. I think I can sue, since they are taking preferential treatment of shipping

Global Computer owns Tiger Direct and Global Computer's distribution center is in Fletcher, OH. It used to be Midwest Micro before Global aquired the company. Also, they build all of global's computers and Tigers computers in that facility. It is literally in the middle of a corn field with nothing else around it for miles.
