I just called the Productshipper.com guy and he said this:

Those orders were accidentally cancelled by a glitch in AMD's system. They're calling people back today and tomorrow to explain how you can reenter the deal.

Cancelled as well. I was order no. e903052 and live in Los Angeles. Ordered on the 8th. Have a hard time beliving there isn't a Tiger Direct warehouse nearby, but I guess there must not be.

Not teasing, just repeating what the guys say. Tigerdirect really isn't dealing with this whole thing directly. The orders are in AMD's database, or were, and the shipping is coming from productshipper.com, who the td guy assured me was a seperate company.

yea these werent being shipped from tigerdirect they were being shipepd directly from amd, i live 4 hours from tiger direct in florida and i ordered on 7/7 order number 9297xxx was cancelled today also.

Honestly, I don't know if I really expect a phone call. They probably 'accidentally' cancelled 3,000 orders. That's a lot of phone calls.

That being said, their website mentions PST, which means they aren't even opening for a few more hours.

I am just jerking your chain. I don't look for anything out of this deal now. Some people got lucky, some cheated the system and some were left out of the deal. There will always be other deals.

I was told that AMD had cancelled around 700 orders. I was told that they (TD) were going to get a list from AMD in 24 to 48hrs that lest them know which people they approved to order the deal. Amd has been sending me friendly email so I hope I still have a chance.

Man i really need this setup, my 1.2ghz t-bird die on me last week. i call AMD for an RMA, but they say have provide the invoice with a date on it, i thow the invoice away 2years ago therefor no RMA was made. Now my order is cancalled, which pissed me off so bad, in future i'll try to stay away from AMD's product.

but i called TG (i know, I KNOW) and they said that it WAS a problem with AMD's servers, and they'll be sending out emails again. Unfortunately, I haven't recieved any emails from AMD because I didn't put down an alternate email address; therefore most likely won't be getting any emails.


Is there a way that I can put in my Alternate Email Address?
