What I can't believe is that some people brought new hardware because they expected it to arrive. I got lucky but I didn't think it was going to show.

Yep, it sucks...My order was cancelled sometime early yesterday morning (no email notification or anything) so I called AMD only to get the runaround before I was finally told that I needed to call the shipper (Tiger Direct). I called TD and the CSR asked what the problem was, I told him that my order had been cancelled and he asked me if I wanted to re-order the item. (DUH! Of course!) So after re-ordering the AMD EPP Bundle, I checked the status of this order and instead of saying "To Drop Shipper", it first read "Review", then "Credit Card Review", then "Credit Card Declined."

I called up TD again, this time I talked to someone that must've been dealing with this all day. Before I could say anything he said that the promo deal had to be ordered through AMD and that AMD was cancelleing a bunch of orders either because of fraud or multiple orders.

Twice, I've been denied this deal...:disgust:

Oh well, back to learning how to overclock my 2.8c I suppose (only reason I'm not THAT disappointed).

Congrats to everyone that got theirs, a big F U to those that scammed and received several for fleabay and screwed others out of getting one!

Someone please lock this topic as it seems to have officially died sometime yesterday.

Here is an email address to a manager whose email I got and have been trying to deal with and get some fair play for us. So far no luck. And I have Emailed him links to the Ebay sellers and also asked why those who got the deal have not been required to send them back as suggested in this thread and I do not get satisfactory responses back accept for his canned ones. I think if enough people complain maybe AMD will get the hint that lots are upset over this unfairness.

Are you forgetting that the ones on ebay were up long befor this deal even hit,there for they most likely came from RetailAccess Employee Prerchase Program from Legal Employees of the qualified Companys set their in.There bundle was just like this bundle exept for a diffrent BILLING part# EPP1900 The program you are complaining about is SPP1901.AMD SPP knows this allready those Employees can do what ever they like with thier goods as well as SPP perchasers.

No. Just tweaking AMD about their fiasco and reminding them that enthusiasts want them for themselves and then spread the word about how good they are. And I know they won't require anyone to send them back.

I heard that some orders are being changed from canceled to shipped ( on hardocp some kid posted his order status changed because he was really qualified for it, but who knows if he was lieing or not), most likely because amd is NOW checking which orders are allowed and not. Yes amd, check them right when my order was supposed to be shipped, my bad luck i guess. Come on AMD! GIVE ME MY CHIP DAMNIT! IM SO DESPERATE LOL
