Just wanted to post an update....

I was one of the guys who tried but could not get the deal at first.
Well I tried again, and my stuff is in transit today. I got the tracking number this morning from Tiger Direct. I should get the combo today.

ie. I do work for a legit company. We have tax ID's and what not, and we are a provider. WE are not a distributer or a wholesaler, but we are a legit solutions company.

Actually, this also happens when the shipping address is to a known "MailBoxes Etc"/"UPS Store" address. TD refuses to ship anything to those kinds of places. It's got to be a valid home or business address. It's really very irritating.

Also, CB is right in that if your Credit Card doesn't have your shipping address listed as a valid address for you -- TD can hold up your orders for credit checks, as well.

Yeah, that's not the case here either.

I believe your problem is that you have already been turned down and are in the system as such. Someone who already has ordered should be all right and someone who has not ordered should also be okay.

damn i have been on vacation and i see people are still getting this deal. what if you do own a business and ordered this on 7/7 but it was cancelled due to the people who were lying to get the deal, my question is how do we get back in the deal?

I never received the e-mail to show the tracking number. I called the TD today and they gave me my tracking number...

Never got an email myself. I called them twice today to get a tracking number and the first time the guy said it would be emailed 'later today' even though he had the wrong email address on file. Second time I called, just a few minutes ago, the woman who answered said to call back in 10-15 minutes. Giving them five minutes at most...

Nope the 3200+ for this deal is the 512KB cache newcastle. The rebate specifies the 1MB cache version.

I don't think there is a list of companies on the website that qualify because if they listed it, then I think more people would have abused it. From what others have stated, after taking the test, i'm pretty sure AMD has their 'list' that qualifies. After taking the test, it will tell you if your company qualifies or not. Probably only way to find out which companies qualify is to either call them and see if your company does before taking test.

I replied to your email. Orignally i signed up with my personal info, but put my company's name and website where it was asked. I then went back after ordering and updated all my contact info on the MarketBuilder website with my work information, such as phone number, address, etc, but my package is being sent to my house.

I was figuring there would be some sort of qualifications list not an actual list of qualified companies, persay. I'd love to take the test and find out but there is no link to it in my account when I log in.

I guess I will just have to call and find out.. was just trying to avoid that if possible so I didn't sound stupid if my company isn't eligible afterall.
