I got this for $50 (after rebate) on BF. Its a decent case, Ill say I'm glad I didn't pay $120 for it but certainly a great buy at even $60. I would have preferred that it came with the side intake fan. If you are interested in matching the side intake with the blue tricool fans its going to set you back another $10-$20.

I submitted $150 bucks worth of rebates few days after BF and I have received confirmation for both Antec rebates I submitted (the case and laptop cooler @ buy.com).

Ive never seen or heard a CM Stacker 830 but with the stock 4 fans set to medium speed in the 900 its pretty quiet. I wouldn't say its completely silent but you would really have to be anal about sound for it to bother you. I have it sitting on my desk next to my monitor ~2 feet from my head and it does not bother me.

One of the reasons some might call it "loud" is that a lot of it is open to venting for the sound to get out. But because of all the venting you don't have to run the fans as hard to pull the CFMs. I will say I had to down the fan speed on my BFG 8800GT it alone is easily 3x as loud as the entire case but at 50% the noise pretty much fades in with the background.

My old case was a ThermalTake XazerV (or something like that). It was nice to be able to adjust the fans with the dials on the case but is was HUGE, HEAVY, and a major clusterfvsk inside with all the fan control stuff. The fans in the 900 have a 3 setting switch and only one of the fans can have the switch accessible from outside the case. But that really isn't that big of a deal for me because medium fan speed is quiet enough for me and keeps the case quite chilly.

Seriously? From where?

I have all my fans on low or medium, but I'd almost go so far as to say this is the quietest case I've ever owned. If you put all the fans on high I could see that, but with all the fans on low its whisper quiet and still has fantastic airflow.

damn, I'n not a big fan of "PSU down on the bottom" cases, but $59??????
And FREE SHIPPING - normally shipping would be a bunch on a steel case
Sooooooo tempted

My Antec 900 is one of the quietest I have ever owned. Paired it with Earth Watts PSU. Love the case.

CM Stacker deal for $109 shipped was too hot, and I jumped. I think it looks better than the antec 900 and has many nice added features. I would go with the Antec 900 due to the $59.99 price, but the CM Stacker is definately worth it at $109. Go with the Antec if you are on a tight budget.

I own both cases. I like the antec 900 better because for $59 you already get (3) 120MM fans plus the top 200MM one for free . The CM830 is way larger inside but does'nt come with any fans, is huge! and weighs a ton...

If you are worried about keeping your stuff cool the antec 900 keeps everything ice cold out of the box with no additional fans needed.

Very nice case for the price. You can always swap in new fans if you don't like the one's that come with it. Buy this if you need a new case.

I use this case. It is great, I love it. Excellent airflow especially with the 200mm top fan. Very quite with the front 120s on low and the rear fans on Med. I like the design also, black with a see though side. The hard drive cages are well cooled and easy to install. A tool-less design would of been better. I take this the LAN Parties all the time. I saw tons of the them at GeForce 4 LAN in SF recently. $60 is a HOT price!

I've built 20 or 30 computers over the years and the Antec 900 is my favorite case of all my builds. It is not very loud if the fans are kept on medium or low and it keeps everything nice and cool. Great bang for the buck!

I got this price last year from a CompUSA that was going out of business in the area.

This is a FANTASTIC case. I don't even use it to its full ability (I don't use water cooling, but there are points where you can tell that this case is designed to make water cooling a little easier)

It is fairly quiet, and it is easy to keep everything cool. It comes with so many fans installed that you don't even need to purchase additional ones (and that 200mm fan on the top will blow your mind). It's spacious and the hard drive cages are built smartly.

The only beef I have is that you can't install hard drives in the center cage if you also want to have a fan on both sides; it comes installed with a fan toward the front of the case that covers the center cage (and a fan toward the front that covers the lower cage as well). It also comes with a little plastic bit that fits a fan onto the other end of the center cage (so you have this cage surrounded by two fans). A hard drive won't fit in the center cage if you choose to use this configuration, with two fans instead of just a front fan. Frankly, no one needs that much air flow anyway; if you don't have hard drives to put there, go ahead and use this extra fan spot, otherwise it's probably not necessary.

It would have been so much more uber to have three hard drives in that center cage with a fan on each side, providing ridiculous amounts of air flow.

Edit: And for the record, I like having the PSU on the bottom of the case. I find it more aesthetically pleasing.
