this deal is not available at my local Fry's. The price is still $139 before tax. The shipping cost is what stops me from purchasing this (and of course I will have to pay tax as well)

Just a heads-up, I received mine and it was a P180B (like I ordered), not a 182B (like some get instead). Still happy with this case just like the P180 I bought a couple years ago). Now to convince the wife I need a new PC already. :laugh:

Does your new one have the water cooling holes in the back? If it does, then it should have all of the upgrades the P182 offers, except for color.

Just picked one up from Frys today. Havent opened it up though to see if it's got the water cooling holes. The Silver 180 was also the same price as the 180B.

GeezerMan, nope... It's the plain-jane P180B. I wasn't planning on water cooling, but I would have liked a couple of the other revisions. Still a great case though.

Ok, so I checked out mine and it's the 182 with the water cooling holes. I'm currently using water cooling so this will come out handy if I chose to move the water cooler over. Totally depends on if the case is quiet enough without it.

Good for you. From what I have read on the web, if you have the water holes, you have all of the P182 features. Let us know if you don't

decided to jump on this deal figuring my 5+ year old case could use a rest.

I originally got an open box item, and upon opening it at home I realized it was the original version and it was missing two of the rubber feet. I returned it and asked for a new one from the back; and to my luck I got the new version! Let me just say now the new version is SOO much better then the original. The attention to detail on this case is mind blowing, from the rubber vibration dampers on the hardrives, to the place on the back of the motherboard to manage cables.

It also gave me a reason to remount my cpu heatsink, with the case and remount I dropped 10C! my hardrives are also nice and cool now thanks to the 120 fan now cooling them.

If the rebate is for not for the item that Frys sends you then I believe Frys will give you the rebate amount. But most likely the rebate is right.

I just called and the customer service said she had to ask a supervisor. She came back and said that they checked the UPS and it matched the rebate form and the rebate is valid.

I was worried that if the receipt reads something and the rebate reads another, I may be in trouble.


I had to call and ask them to cancel my order of $119.99 and place a second order for $99.99.
