Finally everything is over with SVC.
I e-mailed them a few times in the first week of January (order was placed on 12/2/2002). After getting ignored twice, I finally sent an e-mail to every address on the website. That and the post here seemed to finally get a reponse.
The customer service rep ended up they offered me free priority shipping on my order minus the cases. I thought maybe they could give a discount on another case, but they wouldn't throw in free shipping on that. Turns out the free shipping only applied to the original order. They sent the rest of my order via UPS ground (not Priority mail as they had promised), and they forgot to include the refund check. So I wait and wait. I got another UPS package with the same order a few days later.. another SVC mistake. They didn't include the refund check. Ironically enough they were extremely quick in arranging for UPS to pick up their mistaken package the next day. The refund check came another week later.
Overall I ended up getting only part of my order (not any cases) sent via regular UPS mail close to two months after the original order was placed. As far as I'm concerned, they didn't do ANYTHING to remedy their mistakes. I am seriously shocked at how little concern they actually put into remedying this situation. I really hope that they start working harder towards customer satisfaction. All in all, good luck to anyone dealing with them.. maybe they'll get things together someday.
