Hi all,

First deal post but I haven't seen anyone mention it yet. Office Depot currently has the Antec Sonata for $106.31. Apply the $20 off $100 coupon floating around and you get it for $86.31 + tax with ZERO HASSLE OF PRICEMATCH! Shipped free!

Good luck,
Thuly

P.S.
If it's a repost... sorry to waste your time guys. Also, I think if some are creative enough the deal can get better when having Staples price match Office Depot.

Edit:
PRICED RAISED TO $115.95
No more $ off coupons that i could find working for tech items... they really killed 'em after the $70 coupon stack from the other week

This is very tempting. If someone was lucky enough to get a pricematch and able to use a coupon, it would be around $65 after rebate.

What the hell? I added it to my cart, logged in and hadn't even gotten to the coupon thing yet. I entered the address to ship it to and it said "there is a problem with your order...the item cannot be shipped to that address" and it dumped me back to my cart (which was now empty). Now the case is completely gone from their site, not even an "out-of-stock" message.

The link still works. I bought it a couple hours ago and the coupon code worked fine. Came out to about $93 after tax.

I'm thinking about canceling my order because there is a new Antec case coming out called the P160. Here's a link to some info. However, it looks like it will be about $120 when it comes out and that doesn't include a power supply. I guess it really isn't worth the $100 or so difference when you include a nice power supply.

sucks!... if all the deals regarding this case are hard to get (i.e. OD, Staples, BB) ... amazon's $99.94 + free shipping might be the way to go for now =| ...beats newegg's $95+$18(s&h)+tax(CA,NJ)

anyone find any other deals that can beat the one from amazon?

for those that bought the case at best buy, go back with the office depot printout for 106 ( tell them you printed it at the OFFICE DEPOT Store-very important), and they wil pricematch it to 103. And if you purchased it before the 28th like me you already have the 30 rebate with printed rebate receipt at retail price. Final price after PM, and rebate 73 dollars + tax. Pretty good if you ask me. I did this at the best buy at arden, sacramento

Yes, I'm also wondering about this power supply. I know antecs are great, but does a 380 have enough power to run a 3.0 pentium, 2 hd, 2 optical drives (1 is dvd burner) a good graphics card (9700pro or 9800pro), and assorted usb and firewire equipment stable?

I love this case.. the blue LEDs are alittle over the top, but in all, its very nice. A few friends went out and got the case as well.. I went from an enermax 400 and my friends went from True Power 4xx PSUs to this 380.. No problems.

With 2 7200rpm HDs, a p4 2.2, TV card, firewire drives, 2 USB2 drives, two CDRW drives the PSU is blowing slightly warm air and still quiet as can be.

I read somewhere, don't remember now though, that it comes out late October. I ended up keeping my order just because the prices for the p160 seem to be about $120 before tax and shipping. Add $60 for an equivalent power supply and it ends up $100 more than the Sonata in this deal. Not worth it to me, but maybe for some.

Hey guys,

By last count I saw three Office Depot $20 off $100 coupons out there. One of them expires today 9/30/2003 which is the one I found at TB.

Luckily, there are a few people at FW out there who have a few more coupons which expire 10/11/2003.

Thul

On a side note... the coupons I believe are one time per email address so use the one 9/30/2003 now and save the others in case a better deal comes up by 10/11/2003. (Price Drop?)

I run: Soyo p4I875P, 2.53GHz P4 w/CNPS7000AlCu, 1GB Mushkin Black L2 RAM, 2x WD Raptors, Maxtor 120, Maxtor 160, HP CD-RW, HP DVD+RW, Haupauge PVR-250, PCI modem (runs voice app), and a GF4ti4200 128MB with Zalman fanless heatpipe with no problems at all - extremely quiet and stable. Not overclocked, cnps fan turned all the way down (almost no noise at all from this pc), and is stays cool. No firewire devices, but on USB: 128MB flash drive, HP printer, Microtek scanner, APC UPS, v.92 modem, and soyo's 6in1 reader.

Hope that helps.
