I'd say for 100 bucks, probably Seasonic is better choice. but for this price Trio is excellent.
The Trio is built by Seasonic, which makes this pretty hot.....
Capacitors are OST RLP with the main cap being Hitachi. On top of that a 5 year warranty and great Antec service. I really don't think you can go wrong for $65........
It's true they are built by Seasonic but every source I checked concurs that they use inferior parts inside compare to S12s.
Inferior is a relative term. The S12 has an inferior price. Let's put things into perspective; this is a $65 Seasonic 650 watt psu with Active PFC, >80 efficient. It may not have the very best internals, but this is far from the Fuhjyyu cap, low end model issue using a completely different manufacturer.
Make no mistake about it, this is not a low end unit by any means. Excellent bang for buck here!
Good internal shot: http://hardware.gotfrag.com/files/upload/oscar_trio_009.jpg

If nothing else, I'll be able to report in about a week. My feet are resting on a new, boxed P180 and I ordered one of these Antec Trio 650's today.Originally posted by: DontCare
