So, sadly, I didn't get in on this deal. No Arby's near my place (NoVA), unlike C-Ville where there was one right on 29, if I recall from my school days.

ok...Technology sites... You can see by my username and mention of thesabre.com that I am not a Hokie....

check it up for another Virginian on a technology site though. I wouldn't know about he Arby's on 29...when I got around to eating I was always at the Tree House or O-Hill....but since my dorm was about half a mile from anything I usually only ate twice a week.

Sadly, the Tree House is no more -- pwned by a bulldozer. I was really sad about not being able to get my Pizza Hut fix my last year there - even if the things came out of the freezer and they just threw them onto the conveyor belt oven. Ohhh, and those lovely massive grilled burgers and freshly cooked fries...

Edit: Well actually...they ended up moving the Grill thing to New O-Hill, so there's still some satisfaction to be had around there.

I assume you both went to UVa-I went there as well. Good to see some people with good taste I'm heading back to C-ville today. Going to eat at Szechuan, that's the best chinese food I've had yet.

EDIT: Did either of you guys try the Cyclops at the castle? Basically, a bacon cheeseburger with a fried egg on it-sounds nasty, but it was actually pretty awesome.

Yep, Class of '06 for me (SEAS).

As far as the Cyclops, I was at the Castle once when someone at our table ordered that thing. Just couldn't stomach the thought of having a fried egg for dinner, so I never did give it a try. My regular order was the bacon cheeseburger .

WTF they bulldozed the Tree House? I was pissed enough when I heard they were demolishing old O'Hill..heck it was even the subject of a lecture in one of my Architectural History classes.

Edit: The Castle...was that the joint that was in one of the Old First Year dorms? I only ate at the Tree House and every so often Pav XI. I ate at O'Hill maybe 20 times my entire 4 years and only ate at Newcomb once.
