I used both, temp wise not much difference although Rosewill is bit heavier of the two. I personally give ACF7 a slight edge, simpler construction and lighter weight, it also has slight more surface area than Rosewill.

There technically is a $5 coupon, but it's for a $75 purchase, and it can't be used in conjunction with a special...which this is .

I just got the AC Freezer 7 pro a few weeks ago. I am very impressed by it, for a cooler that is so much less expensive than similar performing competition, this is a winner in my book. Its got my 2.1GHz E6420 running effortlessly at 3.2GHz daily.

I think the only down side for ACF7 is there's seldom much discount on it, lowest I've seen is like $19 shipped. But rosewill can go below $10AR.

I dont know if this is any help to anyone looking for a ACF7, but if you have a PC club nearby, check them out. I was in the Mesa, AZ store a few days back and they had them for $11.99. It doesnt look like its on the website, so it may be a ymmv deal.

I've had zero temp issues (or any other for that matter) using this cooler on an overclocked quad core (2.66Ghz OC'd to 3.4Ghz). Here are the complete PC specs:

Case: Antec Nine Hundred
PSU: OCZ GameXStream 700W Power Supply
MB: EVGA 122-CK-NF68-A1 LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 Kentsfield 2.66GHz LGA 775 Processor Model BX80562Q6700
HS/Fan: Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Cooler
Video: EVGA 768-P2-N831-AR GeForce 8800GTX Superclocked 768MB 384-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI
RAM: DDR2 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C4, CL4-4-4-12, 800MHz, CorsairTWIN2X2048-6400C4
HD: Seagate 500GB Serial ATA/300 16MB Buffer ST3500641AS-RK - Retail
DVD: Black NEC 18x DVD Multi Writer Burner AD-7170A, 18X DVD+/-R, 8X DVD+RW, 6X DVD-RW, OEM
Sound: Creative X-Fi Xtreme Gamer

I've gamed with the Crysis demo, UT3, and Quake Wars Enemy Territory, as well as ran Prime95 (on each core simultaneously) for 8+ hours without issue. I'd definitely recommend this cooler.

You left out the most important spec - What kind of temps are you getting?

Yeah, and unfortunately, I don't remember the exact #'s. I do remember them being surprisingly low, but the case also plays a large part in that due to how much air it's moving.

Shipping was over 8 for me. After shipping, it's not worth it, since it normally retails for around $29.95 at my local store. I have the freezer pro 64 (K8 version of the freezer pro 7) and it's amazingly quiet. I don't know if the Rosewill version would have the same effect. Hope someone can find another deal for the Freezer Pro 7, since i'm trying to put together a 775 build
