I don't know about you guys but I can't stand burning media at 2.4x. I try to stick to 6x or 8x depending on which media I'm using. I got a 25 pack of those khypermedias a while back which were 2.4x CMC discs and I don't think I will ever use them. Anyways, still a great deal considering I used to buy CDR's at this price.

I would rather burn faster, but for the price, I'll take 2.4x any day. Besides my burner is only a 4x burner .

My OM was out of the Arita DVDs of course. They subbed 2 50 packs of Memorex DVD+R 4x. They had 2 packs that had packaging like some ritek CDRs I have (rounded lip on spindle cover, not the raised edge like CMC Magnetics usually has). Anyway, opened them up and they are:

Ricoh 4x, excellent. They sold me 2 packs for 59.99 and told me to send in the $20 Arita rebate. I'm wary of that, but I had them give me a copy of the sub sheet so if I have any rebate hassles I have some proof of what they told me. Hopefully there will be no hassles. I also talked them into taking a $20 staples coupon, so the net deal is 100 ricoh 4x +Rs for $20 plus some tax.

Use a hair dryer to heat the sticker. It peels off easily when it is hot.

Just got back from my local OM, none left at this store but they were substituting 4 x 25 pack imations as first substitute and then as last substitutes 2 x 50 pack Memorex 4x DVD+R media. I got the last subs.

I guess it pays to be late, because I'd take memorex 4x media over Arita 2.4x media anyday of the week. Not sure how the rebates going to work but I'll send it in and cross my fingers.

BTW: These Memorex I picked up were Ricoh => RICOHJPNR01 which burn at 8x on my burner.

Well, I don't really know how many subs were handed out prior to me but, I know that the 1st subs were all gone thats why I got the second subs (Memorex). If they sell out of the second subs then your out of luck. Had that happen too many times on other products.

Noticed that the Imation 25pk 4x DVD+R has a $10 MIR - Rebate forms.

So if $39.99 + tax (OTD) - $10 MIR. Form does not mention if limit one per name/household.

What's the item# for the 50-pk Memorex 4x DVD+R? 25-pk sells for $69.99. Wonder if I can use a $10off$40 coupon (in store use) I got in the mail.
